One of the more commonly asked questions many businesses have a bout buying facebook fans is at what point are they needed and if it’s something that you would need to do over and over again or if it’s something that you can just do once and forget about it forever. While there is no 1 absolute answer to this question since every business is different for most businesses you really only need to purchase the facebook fans once and they should be purchased when you first setup your fan page. That’s not to say it’s the only way to do it, I have seen plenty of times where businesses needed the exact opposite timing or needed to keep purchasing fans because the nature of their business or online marketing was very unique and different than traditional models.
As far as timing goes, it’s safe to say that 99.99% of facebook fans should be purchased as soon as possible from the time you setup your fan page. The reason being that the whole point of attracting facebook fans is so that your other fans have somebody to interact with and share things with, nobody really wants to be fan #1 and have nobody to share or discuss things with.
